30. 12. 2018

Jon Jones finishes Alexander Gustafsson, claims vacant UFC light heavyweight belt. Amanda Nunes wins UFC featherweight title in electrifying upset of Cris Cyborg

The rematch of one of the greatest fights in UFC history wasn’t nearly as competitive as their first encounter, as Jones was rarely challenged before turning things on in the third round and finishing the job. The time of the TKO finish was 2:02.

UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes shocked the world with an electrifying performance on Saturday night at UFC 232 at The Forum, needing just 51 seconds to knock out featherweight champion Cris Cyborg. With the win, the American Top Team competitor by way of Salvador, Brazil, became the first simultaneous women’s two weight-class champion in UFC history. She also handed Cyborg her first defeat since 2005.

Submission and knockouts to watch:

Ryan Hall did a perfect variation of “Imanari roll” to heel hook against long time black belt BJ Penn you should definitely watch this finish.

Uriah Hall was probably losing the fight against new comer Bevon Lewis but he came big with a brutal counter right straight in the 3rd round another finish to watch!

Alexander Volkanovski is a great up and coming featherweight and he took on a veteran in Chad Mendes and boy he delivered. After 2 rounds of back and forth toe to toe fighting he clipped Medndes and got his TKO. Fight of the night with a great finish!

And of course Amanda Nunes brutally finishing Cris Cyborg. After half minute of throwing punches Nunes was the first one to connect clean and the followed with precision punches until Cyborg felt face down! Great KO and a must watch!
